TRAY SMITH, HEAD COACH

Coach Tray Smith is from Franklinton, La. and has lived in Livingston for the past 8 years. His passion for sports and football began at an early age. He grew up playing football and basketball while working on a dairy farm. Coach Tray was an assistant football and basketball coach at Jewel M. Sumner High School in Kentwood for a combined 10+ years. He also emceed all the Jewel M. Sumner football games as well. His love for football allows him the opportunity to mentor children while teaching them the fundamentals of the game. 

Coach Tray enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, and of course watching football! He is married to his wonderful wife, Brandi Meyers Smith, a lifelong resident of Livingston. The couple has 5 children. 

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
